Scratch Pad

Guitar Finish Protector

EVER HAD TO MARK DOWN A GUITAR when you discovered that some doofus with a belt buckle in the shape (and size) of Texas took it for a ‘rough-ridin’ demo? And ever wonder how many sales weren’t closed because the customer wouldn’t accept a less-than-perfect (i.e., scratched) guitar?

Well be forewarned, even the guys without the belt-buckles are leaving their mark with the inconspicuous pocket rivets that seem to escape the dealers attention.

Scratch Pad guitar finish protectors increase dealer profit margins hundreds, even thousands of dollars per year by simply protecting the value of their precious, new-instrument inventory.

Scratch Pad is an attractive, non-adhesive finish protector that is easily applied, removed, and reapplied to another instrument in seconds. Its multi-layered construction shields instruments from the scratches, dings, and impact-divots caused by belt-buckles, zippers and pocket rivets.

Scratch Pad’s patented micro-pore copolymer allows Scratch Pad to cling gently to an instrument without the use of adhesives, elastic bands, vinyl films, snaps, or attachments of any kind. “Micro-suction cups” in the Scratch Pad’s high-tech surface allow it to cling gently but securely to the back of the instrument without adhesives.

Scratch Pad’s multi-layer construction also provides impact protection in addition to scratch protection. If the copolymer ever becomes contaminated with dust, body oils, etc., Scratch Pad can easily be cleaned with an alcohol wipe to renew Scratch Pad’s cling properties, allowing a retailer to transfer the product to hundreds of successive instruments.

Music Go Round in Cary, North Carolina applies a Scratch Pad to each of the guitars in its inventory. Similarly, in addition to selling Scratch Pads at their accessory counter, the Sam Ash Music stores utilize “For In-Store Use” Scratch Pads to help protect their inventories.

Scratch Pad, LLC has generously offered to provide a free Scratch Pad to the first 500 'Music Trades' readers who request a Scratch Pad dealer sample at http://www.scratchpadusa.com/dealer_registration.html
