the scratch pad cut out is a great shape that would fit most guitars but even than does'nt cover the whole back of the instrument. why not make them to cover a just a les paul or a just strat and shape them to the guitars body 100% ...and maybe even have a cutout to feed the strings through the back of the guitar? i know i can cut it to make it fit but i would need to buy 4 of them to cover the back of my guitar and thats over 100 dollars and too much work. i wouldnt mind paying 50 bucks for one custom fit pad and be done with it. they could at least sell a larger square or rectangle pad thats actually customizeable. its a great idea but it could easily be improved.
