By the age of 15, musician and songwriter Nick Sterling had opened for such noteable acts as; Aerosmith, Cheap Trick, Cinderella, Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, Eric Johnson, Gary Hoey, Peter Frampton, Gavin Degraw, BTO, and Jackyl.
From Mesa, Arizona, Nick started playing guitar when he was 7 years old after receiving the instrument as a birthday present. Soon after, it was evident that Nick had natural talent that needed nourishing.
Nick began with guitar lessons and landed an ongoing gig with the Phoenix based band "Attitude Cat. By the age of ten, Nick wrote and recorded his first CD, aptly titled "Ten". Following his sucessful production of "Ten," Nick felt the need to branch out on his own and form his own group, the "Nick Sterling Band."
Nick has just finished recording his second CD titled "Life Goes On", In addition to writing all of the material, Nick layed down all the instrumental and vocal tracks, then produced and engineered the album himself.
There is currently a documentary in the works depicting Nick's musical adventures thus far, titled: "Nick Sterling - Catch Me If You Can".
